The poster exhibition of the ecological movement “#ChistoGory” is an art project created to combat pollution in Kazakhstan’s nature and promote conscious tourism.

The exhibition first opened on April 26, 2023 in Almaty at Tselinny Temporary, 137 Zheltoqsan St. After the urban exhibition ended, the posters were moved directly to hiking trails in the Ile-Alatau State National Nature Park.

The project brought together 27 authors, including young Kazakh illustrators and designers, as well as internationally known artists: Saule Suleimenova, Shamil Guliyev, and Georgy Tryakin-Bukharov. In total, 42 unique graphic works were presented.

The main goal of the posters is to call on mountain visitors to take their trash with them. The works rethink the culture of overconsumption and clearly show its destructive impact on fragile mountain ecosystems.

Special exhibit: Complementing the posters was a large-scale thematic sculpture made from recycled plastic by the creative group Plastic_Harahura.
