For one thing, the garden is a way of imitating the natural landscape in the space of the city. On the other hand, it is a way of conveying the ideas that form the picture of the world of a citizen. Through the garden design, people of different eras conveyed the artistic taste inherent in that time and place, the system of ethical-religious ideas and the level of scientific development.

We would like to combine the language of art and science in our Apple Garden of Knowledge to demonstrate the synthetic nature of human knowledge. By activating the different senses of the viewer, we tell the apple story of our region. And we hope that the apples that originated in the foothills of Almaty will once again become an integral attribute of our cultural and historical landscape.

Beginning with the origin, more than 30 million years ago, of the wild apple tree, Malus sieversii, we will go through its spread around the world and the history of the development of the apple tree. Aesthetic solution of the exhibition was based on the design of a landmark book for Kazakhstan by the famous scientist A. Dzhangaliyev "The Wild Apple Tree of Kazakhstan". Published in 1977 the botanist's monograph became a landmark work for the study of Malus sieversii. Thanks to this monograph, the whole world learned about the Sivers apple. Through its visual code we would like to tell about the apple history of our region.
