International educational platform for contemporary art

Since 2016, within the framework of the ARTBAT FEST festival with the support of the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan an educational project on contemporary art - the School of Artistic Gesture has been launched. In total, more than 200 people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany and the USA have been trained at the School. Among the teachers of the School: Yulia Sorokina (Kazakhstan), Mikhail Akulov (Kazakhstan), Alexey Ulko (Uzbekistan), Sabina Shikhlinskaya (Azerbaijan), Valeria Nedlina (Kazakhstan), David Kaminsky (Kazakhstan), Kairat Zhanabaev (Kazakhstan), Margarita Solovieva (Kazakhstan ), Ruth McLennan (Great Britain), Waldemar Tatarchuk (Poland), Vato Tsereteli (Georgia), Elena and Viktor Vorobyovs (Kazakhstan), Alexander Ugay (Kazakhstan), Askhat Akhmedyarov (Kazakhstan), Payam Sharifi (Slavs & Tatars), Mikhail Gulin (Belarus), Ulan Dzhaparov (Kyrgyzstan), Olya Kroitor (Russia) and others.
