In partnership with the CEC Arts Link Fund
ART PROSPECT provides artists and curators with the opportunity to conduct research, create a new work, get to know the local art community and implement a special project in partnership with art organizations in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Each of the one-month residencies is structured around the interests of host organizations and visiting artists and curators, and provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the local arts community, develop their own projects, and share information about their work and native culture with local audiences.
The ART PROSPECT Residency Program emphasizes exchange and collaboration in the field of socially engaged art and/or art in the public space between ART PROSPECT artists and curators and the USA artists and curators. Each of the Network's partner organizations organizes a one-month residency for American colleagues in order to create a joint project: an art festival in a public space, educational events and programs, independent art projects, etc. Joint work allows to determine the goals and structure of the residence, mutual interests and needs, common problems and strategies.
